Team Direction

The Westchase Express Baseball Club is dedicated to encouraging and building our youth members into positive community role models.  Established in December 2008, the Westchase Express is a recognized 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to teaching the life lessons of baseball to players of all ages.  For each player, the coaching staff works to provide a demanding environment where they are taught on how to balance their competitiveness with sportsmanship; and teamwork with leadership under the trials and tribulations taught through the experience of the game.  The coaching staff is made up of current and past collegiate and professional players.  Currently there are teams being fielded for the Coastal Baseball Fall Season with the 12 & Under and 10 & Under Winter Tournament & League programs beginning in November.  The teams are made up of a multitude of ethnicities which strives to work together in supporting each other despite differences.

Through your donation today and support, the Westchase Express Young Christian Baseball Club will continue to help youth and young adults play baseball while learning leadership, citizenry, and team building skills in hope to inspire players to give back to their communities and reach for advanced educational goals.  The program is non-denominational and open to all faiths, all that we ask is that you come to the program with respect and a commitment to giving to the Houston community.

  1st Annual Westchase Express Golf Tournament

The Westchase Express, Inc. has selected The Cypresswood Golf Club as the location to host our 1st Annual Express “Spring Bash” Golf Tournament.

 The Westchase Express Young Christian Baseball Club is a baseball program that is comprised of baseball players of all ages from 8 to 40 years old and are from all four corners of the metropolitan Houston area.  Current diversity of the players in our programs reflects more than 6 nationalities and over 8 ethnical heritages. 

Started in 2008, the Westchase Express Young Christian Baseball Club was formed with the purpose of developing the minds, spirits, and self esteem of young baseball players through “Our National Pastime” and elite competition.  

Westchase Express Inc. is incorporated in the Great State of Texas and recognized as a non-profit organization by the IRS under the 501(c)(3) Statute.  All players and coaches are strictly volunteers and receive no compensation for their valuable services.  

As part of our commitment to our Houston area youth, our communities, and God, we plan to reinforce core values of Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, Accountability, Excellence and Leadership through a program that is dedicated to not only techniques and fitness, but also to fellowship, citizenry, and mentoring.  Our lasting goal is to not only develop players to the point where they may obtain opportunities of advanced education but also to ensure that each player realizes his/her responsibility to their communities.

Little Fact about Cypresswood GC: 

Cypresswood Golf Club is one of the most prominent daily fee golf complexes in the Southern United States.  Situated on over 800 acres of rolling, heavily wooded terrain along the confluence of Spring and Cypress creeks, this 54-hole facility offers three unique golf experiences and the finest of playing conditions.  The tournament will be held on the Cypress and Creek courses which were recognized by Golf Digest as the “Best New Course”, respectively.  If more than 144 golfers (or 36 teams) signup the tournament will use The Creek course.  The Cypress course is a par 72 course that has a rating from the “Blue Tees” of 73.0, a slope rating of 134 and an approximate total yardage of 6,906 yards.  The Creek course is a par 72 course that from the “Blue Tees” sports a 73.1 course rating and a 127 slope rating for its approximately 6,937 yards of play.

All tournament registration fees will be as of the date payment is made per the rate timelines.  Registration fees paid that are different than dated rates will be subject to correction at time of registration.  If you are registering a full team and paying individually please annotate in the comments section 1 of 4 and other team members names to assure that you are placed with the right team.  If you are an individual looking to play but do not have a team 3 days prior to tournament we will notify you of your team.  No individual non-team affiliated registrations will be accepted after April 27th.

Since the Westchase Express is a non-profit organization you can help by using any of the sponsor or affiliate links to buy apparel, sports memorobilia, or sunglasses; or you can schedule flights, hotels, and car rentals on any of the links below.  With each purchase the Westchase Express receives a donation in support of the teams travel, lodging, and operating cost.  It is only through programs like these that the Westchase Express can provide the opportunities to the players.
